Welcome to Via District – a new, connected, mixed‑use neighbourhood being planned near Vernon’s historic downtown core.

Located on approximately 18 acres adjacent to Polson Park and Vernon Creek, Via District represents an opportunity to transform underutilized commercial and industrial lands into a vibrant, master‑planned community. Building on the presence and energy of Kal Tire’s head office and the popular BNA Brewing Co., the plan envisions a place that supports new homes, local businesses, and inviting public spaces – all designed to strengthen everyday life in Vernon.

Via District is designed as a compact and complete urban neighbourhood, with walkable streets, access to public transit, cycling and pedestrian connections, and close proximity to trails, green spaces, and downtown amenities. By supporting a range of housing types and a more urban form, the project aligns with Vernon’s Official Community Plan objectives to increase housing supply while reducing car dependency and urban sprawl.
